NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) led July's top trades, followed by the Smartshares US 500 ETF (NZX: USF) and Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB), which ranked notably higher here than in either the Australian or global charts. Stocks and ETFs were evenly split across the top 20, with ten of each — a more balanced mix than the ETF-heavy Australian list or the stock-heavy global one. Mainfreight (NZX: MFT), the freight and logistics company, was the only locally listed New Zealand stock to make the list, closing out the top 20. Sell activity was most pronounced for Micron (NASDAQ: MU), which showed a markedly higher proportion of selling than any other holding.
