Who are Tiger Brokers?

Tiger Brokers (Nasdaq: TIGR), founded in 2014, is a leading online brokerage firm with a focus on redefining global investing with technologies for the next generation. Its flagship trading platform, Tiger Trade, was introduced in 2015 and now serves over 9 million users and more than 2 million account holders worldwide. The company owns 69 licences and qualifications in different global markets, and has become the fastest-growing online broker for Millennials and Gen Z.

Our philosophy is simple. Tiger Trade is committed to democratising access to the global markets, and growing our users' full potential as investors. With this in mind, the company has designed a platform that is innovative, secure, user-friendly and focuses on the power of knowledge, delivering trading opportunities in the Australian, American and Asian markets with transparent in-depth information at users' fingertips.

What makes the Tiger Trade app unique?

The Tiger Trade app offers bang-for-the-buck commission fees, real-time data straight from the major stock exchanges, and a community portal that puts users in touch with other like-minded investors.

With Tiger Trade, Australian investors can trade shares, ETFs and options in the US, Australian and Hong Kong markets. New Zealand investors can also access these assets in the US, Australian, Hong Kong, Chinese and Singapore markets. In addition, the platform’s auto-invest and fractional share trading capabilities mean investors have the ability to enter the market and build their portfolios starting from as little as US$1.

The focus of Tiger Brokers is to educate investors and give them access to data and resources that will enable them to gain a better understanding of investing. To help facilitate this, the Tiger Trade app has a demo account that is available to every user. The demo account allows users to experiment with virtual funds, work out strategies and have hands-on experience in the stock market prior to placing their securities orders.

Tiger Brokers also offers educational resources that can be found through Tiger Academy, creating an all-in-one investment platform for users.

Why has Tiger Trade integrated with Sharesight?

By integrating with Sharesight’s API, Tiger Brokers can provide an even better service to Tiger Trade’s clients in Oceania. Clients will benefit from having more information at their fingertips, with a convenient overview of their share portfolio, plus greater insights into their portfolio performance and tax reporting.

"I am thrilled to announce the integration of Tiger Brokers and Sharesight. We are committed to providing our clients with the best investment experience and this integration is a major milestone in achieving this goal," says Greg Boland, CEO of Tiger Brokers New Zealand.

"With Sharesight's cloud-based portfolio tracking and reporting platform, our clients can now seamlessly track and manage their investment performance across multiple asset classes. This integration will provide our clients with real-time data on portfolio performance, dividend income and tax obligations, allowing them to make informed investment decisions. We are confident that this integration will be a game-changer for our clients, and we are excited to continue exploring ways to enhance our services and provide our clients with the best investment experience possible."
